Cahoots Studios is founded by Lucy Teire and Tom Bryant.

Lucy and Tom first met back in 2015 on the League of Legends Project Overdrive cinematic, and have worked together ever since – eventually taking the plunge and cofounding Cahoots Studios in 2025.

With an Oscar for the short film The Lost Thing, and a degree in astrophysics Tom brings creative flair and technical wizardry to the partnership.

And with over 20 years experience producing animation for kids’ TV, commercials, and game cinematics Lucy takes those big creative ideas and makes them a reality.

Together they can still make each other laugh, even when deadlines are looming, and are reliably the last to leave the pub on work nights out

Lucy’s Bio:

Lucy graduated with a degree in philosophy and psychology from Oxford University . . . and quickly realised that there weren’t many job opportunities for resident philosophers!

So she combined her passion for pictures and stories, tied her metaphorical bundle to her metaphorical stick, and set off for London to look for work in the film industry.

After a few jobs on-set (involving far too many days spent in rainy fields with terrible phone reception) Lucy found her true home in post-production: specifically in animation and visual effects.

Since then she has produced animation for an oscar winning film, seven CeBeebies series, League of Legends cinematics, ad campaigns for the likes of … and …., and countless other projects.

Lucy now holds another, much more practical, degree: a masters in Animation and Visualisation from the University of Dundee. She loves the process of taking a project right through from an initial idea to a final ….

Lucy is also Programme Director for the wonderful MOVE Summit.
